How to Get Here from Kyoto Station
Walk "About 7 min. walk from Kyoto Station (Karasuma Central Exit)— approx. 3 min. walk from the RESI STAY Reception Counter."

There is a self-service luggage storage area immediately to the right of the entrance on the first floor, which you may use before check-in and after check-out.

The door to the luggage storage area is marked “Storage.”
You may use the wire locks provided when storing your luggage.
Please keep your valuables and other personal belongings with you at all times.

※ How to open::Enter your PIN.

The Wi-Fi password is listed on the acrylic stand in your room. Please check it there.
You can also connect to Wi-Fi simply by scanning the QR code.

Please separate your garbage according to the instructions and place it in the provided garbage bags.
If the trash bin in your room is full, you may dispose of the garbage at the designated garbage disposal area outside.

Please use the garbage bags provided in your room.
Extra garbage bags are located in the closet.

 

Please separate your garbage into the following two categories:
① Household waste
② Cans, glass bottles, and plastic bottles

 

※ The local area has strict rules regarding garbage separation and disposal. Please do not dispose of garbage anywhere other than the designated area.

※Please be sure to close the lid of the trash bin after disposing of your garbage.

There is no daily housekeeping during your stay.
Please use the vacuum cleaner provided in your room.
The laundromat on the first floor is also available for your use.

Staff members may sometimes enter your room for maintenance purposes during your stay. You will be notified in advance. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. There is a safety box in your room for your valuables.

Check-in

The key cards are inside the key box at the entrance.

① Enter the password for the key box number provided to you.

② Pull the handle toward you and take out the two key cards.

 

There is also an emergency key in the key box, separate from the two key cards.
Please do not use the emergency key except in an emergency.

Please touch the panel with your key card.
The entrance door will open automatically.

※The entrance door will automatically lock.
※When going out, please be sure to take your key card with you.

Please touch the panel with your key card.

※The room door will automatically lock.
※If you lock the door from the inside using the knob, you will not be able to open it from the outside with your key card.

Check-out

When you check-out, make sure to put both card keys in the return box. These cards are not to be taken to the home or thrown away.

* Cleaning begins at the scheduled check-out time.
* If you continue to use the room after the check-out time, a penalty fee may apply. Please see the House Rules for details.

There is a shared kitchen on the first floor.

 

The items in the kitchen are shared items. After using the dishes and cutlery, please make sure to wash the dishes and return them to their original place.

 

・Kindly store your food inside your room.

・Please be considerate of other guests when using the shared space.

How to use the MICROWAVE:
① Choose the amount of time by pressing the time buttons.
 ( Ex. 2 minutes = Press the 1 min. button 2 times )
② Press the Start button to start heating. Press CANCEL to stop early. 
*Please do not use the black square plate when microwaving.

 

   
  ● You can choose the matching button to heat these items. Heating time is automatic.

How to use the GRILL or OVEN:
 Press the OVEN / GRILL button.
  ・Press once → OVEN
  ・Press twice → GRILL
Set the time. ( Ex. 30 minutes = Press the 10 min. button 3 times )
Press the “WARM START” button to start heating. Press CANCEL to stop early. 

* For GRILL, please turn the food over halfway through cooking if necessary.

⚠️When the light is on, please be careful as the cooker is very hot.

 

HOW TO USE:

① Please place the cookware on the heating area before turning on the induction cooker.
② Once you turn on the cooker, adjust the heat level using the High/Low settings.
※Please make sure to turn on the kitchen fan when cooking. Cooking without the fan may cause the fire alarm to go off.

HOW TO USE:

① Wash the rice and place it in the rice cooker.
② Use the measuring cup to measure the rice. Fill the cup to the top for one serving of rice.
③ There are numbers on the inside of the rice cooker bowl. Please add water up to the number that corresponds to the number of servings of rice.
  Ex. For two servings of rice, add water up to the number 2 line.

 

④ Plug in the rice cooker and press the Start button.

The shared laundries are on the 1st floor.

 

How to Use the Laundry:

Please read all of the instructions carefully before use.
※ Do not put your clothes in until the washing drum cleaning is complete.

 

【① Clean the Washing Drum: Approx. 30 seconds】
1. Insert four 100-yen coins (¥400).
※Only 100-yen coins can be used.

 

2. After inserting the coins, press the “Washing Drum Shower” button within 10 seconds and close the lid. The lid will lock, and the washing tub cleaning will begin.

※Water will start filling immediately after you insert the coins. This water is for cleaning the washing drum. Do not put your clothes in yet.

 

3. When the “Washing Drum Shower” cycle is complete, the lid will unlock.
The water for washing your clothes will then start filling again.

【② Start Washing: Approx. 31 minutes】
1. Once the washing drum cleaning is complete, open the lid.

 

2. When the water for washing your clothes starts flowing into the tub, put your clothes in and close the lid.

 

3. Washing will start when you close the lid. Detergent is added automatically.

※Overloading the tub may reduce washing performance or cause the machine to malfunction.
※Please leave enough space and do not fill the tub above the top.

 

【To Open the Lid During Washing】
※If you need to open the lid during washing, always press the “Lid Unlock” button before opening it.
Do not force the lid open, as this may cause an error and stop the washing cycle.

The shared laundries are on the 1st floor.

 

How to Use the Dryer:

Please read all of the instructions carefully before use.
※ Do not put your clothes in until the drum cleaning is complete.

 

【① Clean the Drum: Approx. 15 seconds】
Press the “Drum Clean” button.
This removes dust and lint from inside the drum before drying.

 

【② Start Drying: 10 minutes or more】
1. Put your clothes in the dryer and close the front door.

 

2. Insert 100-yen coins to start the dryer.

※ ¥100 provides 10 minutes of drying time.
※ Only 100-yen coins can be used.
※ No change is given. Inserted coins cannot be returned.

 

【When Drying Is Complete】
When the timer reaches “0”, the cycle is complete.
Please remove your clothes.
“cd”: The dryer is cooling the clothes.

 

【Estimated Drying Times】

 Dress shirts 30minutes
 Towels 10 40minutes
 Pajamas 2 30minutes
 Work clothes 2 30minutes
 Single-size sheets 2 50minutes

 

【Error Codes】

 05,32,90  Please clean the lint filter.
 11,12,62  Please check that the gas valve is fully open.
 45,79  There may be too many clothes in the dryer.
 00  Please check if there is a power outage.

 

※If you press the “Pause” button while the front door is open, the error can be cleared.
However, for safety reasons, please contact our staff.

House Rules

Please check out by the designated check-out time. If you remain in the room after check-out time and we are unable to clean the room, a late check-out fee of ¥10,000 will be charged.

Furthermore, if you do not vacate the room after check-out time and the next guest is unable to check in, you will be charged the accommodation fee separately, in addition to the ¥10,000 fee. Thank you for your understanding.

If you lose or damage even one card key, please contact us immediately.
A fee of ¥1,100 per card will be charged for lost or damaged card keys.
Please make sure to take your card key with you whenever you leave your room during your stay.

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the property, including the balcony and the street in front of the property. If you smoke in a non-designated area, a cleaning fee of  ¥10,000 will be charged.

*Guests may smoke at the designated space only.

Disposal of items other than household waste, such as suitcases and strollers, is not permitted.
If you dispose of any items other than household waste, a ¥10,000 disposal fee will be charged.

※ Please dispose of rubbish only in the designated trash bins.
※ Do not dispose of rubbish anywhere other than the designated areas within the property.

Forgotten items will be kept for two weeks from the date of check-out. However, food and other items that can spoil will be disposed of immediately for hygiene reasons.

If you would like us to send a forgotten item to you, you will be charged the shipping fee plus an additional handling fee of ¥1,000.

If we do not hear from you about the item within two weeks, it will be disposed of.

There is no bicycle or car parking available at this property.
If you are using a rental car, please use one of the paid parking lots nearby.
Please do not park anywhere other than a paid parking lot, as this may cause problems for local residents.
If we find that you have parked somewhere other than a paid parking lot, a penalty fee of ¥30,000 will be charged.

 

Please also note that parking in a no-parking area or other places where parking is prohibited by law may result in a parking violation issued by the police or other authorities. Any fines or other charges in such cases will also be your responsibility.

Please make sure to turn on the fan in the kitchen when cooking. Cooking without the fan may cause the fire alarm to go off.

Please be considerate of the neighbors by keeping quiet late at night and early in the morning.
Excessive noise or drunkenness that disturbs other guests or neighbors may result in your stay being shortened or cancelled.

 

During your stay, if you or someone you are traveling with becomes ill with the flu or a similar illness, please contact the Reception counter. We would like to take special steps during our cleaning process in order to prevent the spread of illness, Thank you for your cooperation.

・Even if it is just for a short period of time, bringing non-registered guests into the room or building is prohibited.
・Please do not move beds in your room for safety reasons.

Please note that repair costs may apply if any damage to or malfunction of the equipment or facilities in your room is found during or after your stay.

Fee

 

 1,000 yen (tax included) per stay

 *We will receive 10,000 yen as a deposit. We will check the condition for damages or stains when you return it. If there are no damage or stains, we will refund 9,000 yen, minus the rental fee of 1,000 yen .

① 1 month old~ 36 months old (under 15kg)
② 7 months old~ 4 years old (under 15kg)
