RESI STAY Nishijin is a new family-friendly accommodation opening in Kyoto's famous weaving district, Nishijin. Nishijin weaving is a traditional Japanese craft that has been continuously practiced in Kyoto from the Heian Period.
The interior of the accommodation features the theme of "Kyo-asobi", traditional Japanese toys featuring colorful designs. The Mari room features images of temari, balls made of embroidery fabric. The Hina room is adorned with images of Japanese fans. In the Origami room, guests are greeted by images of Japanese cranes folded from paper on the walls. Each of these rooms feature colorful and georgeous examples of Kyoto traditional style.
Each room can accommodate up to 5 people comfortably as all rooms are over 35㎡ in size. In front of the accommodation is a 24-hour supermarket so guests can use the kitchenette inside their rooms to cook with local ingredients.
