RESI STAY Nishijin is a new family-friendly accommodation opening in Kyoto's famous weaving district, Nishijin. Nishijin weaving is a traditional Japanese craft that has been continuously practiced in Kyoto from the Heian Period.
The interior of the accommodation features the theme of "Kyo-asobi", traditional Japanese toys featuring colorful designs. The Mari room features images of temari, balls made of embroidery fabric. The Hina room is adorned with images of Japanese fans. In the Origami room, guests are greeted by images of Japanese cranes folded from paper on the walls. Each of these rooms feature colorful and georgeous examples of Kyoto traditional style.
Each room can accommodate up to 5 people comfortably as all rooms are over 35㎡ in size. In front of the accommodation is a 24-hour supermarket so guests can use the kitchenette inside their rooms to cook with local ingredients. This accommodation is a sure recommendation for groups and families looking to stay in one room.

Welcome to our Hina Room, where you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Japanese culture. In Japan, there's a playing called "hina asobi" that has been celebrated since ancient times. In this playing, dolls are dressed in beautiful kimonos and decorated with care. This tradition has been passed down through generations and is still cherished today. On March 3rd each year, Hina dolls are displayed to wish for the healthy growth of girls.
Our room is inspired by the folding fans held by the hina dolls. It radiates an elegant brightness with stunning folding fans painted on the walls and vibrant colors of intrior.
