The accommodation tax rate in Kyoto City will be revised starting March 1, 2026 (Sunday). The new tax rate will apply to all stays from March 1, 2026 (Sunday) onward, regardless of the reservation date. Please note that the accommodation tax must be paid in cash at check-in, and it is not included in the room rate.
